WHO IT’S FOR
The step between finishing and being on your own.
This housing exists because the year ends before the need does. Some men finish LifeSkills sober and steady and still don’t have a safe place to land. Some men are sober in the shelter and want somewhere with more structure than a bunk.
If any of these is you, it’s worth a conversation.
You finished LifeSkills
You did the twelve months and you’re not ready to live alone yet. That isn’t failure. It’s the point of this housing.
You’re sober in the shelter and want more
You can refer yourself. You don’t need to have been in the program.
You need ongoing sobriety support
Staying substance-free is easier in a building where everyone else is doing the same thing.
A medical issue keeps you from working full time
Full employment isn’t the requirement here. Staying sober and covering the monthly rate is.
LIVING HERE
What it’s like, and what it costs.
Six things come with the unit. The rate covers all of them. There’s no separate utility bill, internet bill, or parking charge on top of it.
A Furnished Unit
One of thirty-two, shared and furnished. You move in with what you have.
Everything Included
Utilities, internet, trash pickup, parking, and snow removal, all in the monthly rate.
Case Management
Someone is tracking what you’re working toward, not just collecting rent.
A Sober Building
Everyone here is sober and expected to stay that way. That’s what you’re paying for as much as the room.

Clothing Room
You are welcome to access the clothing room during posted hours.
$400 to $600 a month, depending on the unit.
That’s the whole cost.
Paying rent regularly, budgeting, and making it a priority is part of recovery.
HOW TO GET IN
Men’s Recovery Support Program (MRSP) is an extension of the LifeSkills program.
This allows for group housing for men who require additional sobriety support or emotional support to live a substance free life or who may have related medical issues that prevent full employment. There is a monthly fee for this program. Referral to this program comes from the LifeSkills program or through self-referral from our shelter clients.

If you’re in the program or finishing it, talk to speak to the Rental Manager. The referral comes from inside.
From the shelter
Refer yourself. Ask at the front desk any day, or use the form and someone will follow up.
What happens next
A conversation. Someone sits down with you about where you are and what you need.
A decision. Our team makes a determination, same as the other programs.
A unit, when one opens. There’s usually a wait list; at these rates, people stay. Ask to be added rather than watching for a vacancy. How long it takes varies.
