WHAT’S OFFERED
The Mission offers art classes for people in our programs.
Art started here for a simple reason: it gets people talking. Sitting around a table with your hands busy, conversation comes easier, especially for the men who tend to isolate. The class runs alongside LifeSkills and Beauty In Grace as part of the year, and no one needs any experience to take part. Materials are provided.
THE CLASS
Six things you can put your hands on.
Materials are provided. You don’t need to bring anything and you don’t need to have done this before.
Paint
Watercolors and acrylics, including the pour work that’s ended up in local shows.
Drawing
Drawing, Zentangle, and coloring, for anyone who wants a quieter start.
Paper
Card making and collage. The cards go out to donors, so the work leaves the building.
Photography
Camera work, and every year the class enters the Fur Rondy Amateur Photo Contest.

For Native clients who’ve taken drum-making classes through Southcentral Foundation.
