Volunteering at the Anchorage Gospel Rescue Mission is about more than lending a hand, it’s about showing up for people. Whether you’re serving a meal, helping in Chapel, spending time in the art room, or assisting with a special event, your time and presence can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.

Before you start
- Fill out a volunteer form with your contact information and personal references
- Read and sign our code of conduct
- Volunteers under 18 need to come with a guardian
- To speak or minister in Chapel, you need an endorsement from your home church and approval from the Mission Chaplain
It is a short process, and we will walk you through it on the phone.
PARTNER WITH THE MISSION
An hour here is worth more than an hour anywhere else you could spend it.
The Mission runs on private support. No municipal, state, or federal money comes into this building.
